CBSE had organised National Science Exhibition 2025-26 from 15–17 January 2026 in Delhi, bringing together over 400 schools and nearly 1,300 young innovators from across the country under the theme
“STEM for Viksit & Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
Students showcased inspiring, research-based working models across areas like Sustainable Agriculture, Green Energy, Health & Wellness, Waste Management, and Emerging & Digital Technologies, reflecting innovation aligned with national priorities.
Inaugural Day was graced by Shri Rahul Singh, IAS, Chairman CBSE, along with esteemed CBSE officials, whose presence and vision motivated students and educators alike.
Day 2 witnessed vibrant interactions, critical thinking, and enthusiastic presentations as exhibition halls buzzed with scientific curiosity.
The event concluded with the Valedictory Ceremony presided over by Shri Himanshu Gupta, IAS, Secretary CBSE & NCERT, where outstanding projects were felicitated and selected for the Rashtriya Bal Vaigyaanik Pradarshani.
Two promising students, Anwita Pal and Eva Singh from class 8 and class 7 respectively had participated in the exhibition. The students participated in the category of sustainable Agriculture. They prepared a model, named Smart Soil Moisture Sensor to check the Soil Moisture, temperature of the surrounding atmosphere and humidity. They presented their model confidently and answered the queries of the judges diligently.
Although the team did not secure a winning position, the experience proved to be a victory of learning, exposure and confidence. This platform marked not an end, but the beginning of the new chapter in the scientific journey of our young innovators. The exhibition ignited fresh ideas, strong determination and a renewed commitment to return next year with even greater preparation, deeper research and more refined innovations. The students renewed the event with a promise to grow, improve and continue striving for excellence.
