Description:
1. Field firing was carried out by 288 Medium Regiment Arty at the above mentioned locations on Sunday 15 December 2024.
2. 175 SD/SW cadets of 84 UK Bn NCC Roorkee went and witnessed the firing and 18 of them were from our school.
3. Three army buses were arranged to go from Roorkee Military Hospital to the field firing range.
4. The India-Pakistan war of 1971 that led to the creation of Bangladesh and the Kargil war of 1999. Weapons used in the war were displayed and detailed information about all modern guns was given.
5. All the cadets were also given information about heavy guns and small arms and their firepower was also demonstrated.
6. This type of exhibition increases the feeling of patriotism and dedication towards the country among the NCC cadets.
