St. Ann’s Sr. Sec. School, Roorkee, celebrated Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas in honour of the great tribal freedom fighter, Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
A short and meaningful assembly was conducted on 20th November by the students of Class 6C, to observe Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas and commemorate the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
Students presented a brief introduction on the significance of the day, followed by a speech on Birsa Munda’s life, his contribution to tribal rights, and his role in India’s freedom movement. A poem and a short presentation further highlighted his courage and dedication towards his community.
