Description:
A significant thought that was powerfully reflected in the assembly presented by the students of Class 10-A.
Taking a creative turn, the students showcased how our actions today will shape the world we leave behind. The skit began with two narrators introducing the Earth of the 90s and the 20s. The two Earths exchanged thoughts, reflecting on the drastic environmental changes that took place over the past decades.
Scene 1, cited as “progress” by the 20s Earth, showed a boss and an employee proudly discussing a forest being cleared for their big project.
However, the 90s Earth, disturbed by the scene, took the other into the future where a young girl struggled to breathe due to the dense smoke that now surrounded the planet.
This stark contrast highlighted not only our inaction towards environmental issues but also our growing ignorance.
The assembly concluded with a powerful call to action, urging everyone to take the first step toward a greener planet.
The skit ended with a quote by Greta Thunberg:
“You are never too small to make a difference.”
