On May 1st, St. Ann's Senior Secondary School, Roorkee celebrated Labours Day with great enthusiasm. Students from classes 12th and 2nd organized a special programme to honor the hard work and dedication of workers.
The programme began with a prayer service, where students prayed for the well-being of workers.Short poems were recited to appreciate the contributions of various workers followed by a skit highlighting the importance of workers in the school, showcasing their roles and responsibilities.
A lively dance performance followed the skit, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The Teachers Association presented gifts to workers as a token of appreciation and gratitude for their hard work.
The programme concluded with a speech by the Sr. Principal, emphasizing the value of labour and the importance of respecting workers. The vote of thanks was proposed, expressing gratitude to all participants and workers.
