Our school derives its ethos from the rich Biblical philosophy wherein our focus is not the mere dissemination of information but the conferring of value-based holistic education. As Jesus says in Romans(22:2), “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” We, then at St. Ann’s Roorkee, lay a huge emphasis on the enlightenment and awakening of our pupils’ minds and souls.
Commitment to excellence in teaching and learning is another hallmark of our school which gets reflected through the high performance of our students in the board examinations each year. In our efforts to make education more relevant to the present-day requirements of our society and take it beyond rote learning, a number of co-curricular and extracurricular activities are organized for the students. The emphasis which the rich Indian traditions lay on music, dance and drama continue to be in place in our school. In addition, we also regularly organize a number of sporting activities and encourage students to participate in activities that promote the care of our environment and beyond.
