St. Ann's Sr. Sec. School, Roorkee, organized a picnic excursion for teachers on 1st February 2025. The journey began on the night of 31st January, as the teachers boarded a train to Amritsar, Punjab. Upon arrival, they visited the Golden Temple, experiencing its serenity and spiritual beauty. A visit to Jallianwala Bagh reminded them of the sacrifices made for India's freedom. They then explored Sadda Punjab, an authentic Punjabi village restaurant, enjoying the rich flavors and culture. The trip to the Wagah Border filled everyone with patriotism, and a visit to the India Gate concluded the day with a deep sense of history and respect. The excursion was an unforgettable experience, immersing everyone in the food, traditions, and vibrant spirit of Punjab.
