Description:
“Education is a once in a lifetime opportunity to open children’s hearts and minds to the unbelievable wonders of the universe” Every school aims at the holistic development of a child which is possible only when parents, school management and teachers form a strong partnership. The foundation of having a good relationship is frequent and open communication and a clear understanding of what is better for each child. Keeping this in mind, an ‘ Orientation Program ’ was organized for the parents of classes 1 to 5 on the following dates.
Class 1: 05/05/2025
Class 2 : 06/05/2025
Class 3: 07/05/2025
Class 4: 08/05/2025
Class 5: 09/05/2025 for the students of St. Ann's Senior Secondary School, Roorkee (Session 2025-2026). The program was conducted in the school auditorium, starting with a prayer, conducted by Sister Jessy (Vice-Principal), then the class teachers, along with the subject teachers, introduced themselves
The Vice-Principal,in her message, laid stress on the need for effective communication between the school management and parents and sought their support and suggestions so that the best could be done for the overall development of the students. She also shared her views on how to nurture a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for their glorious future. She reiterated the school mission and vision and enlightened parents with the important aspects of school policies and the role of the parents in this. She emphasised that active collaboration between the parents and the school will help the children to move forward as they develop 21st-century learning skills of critical thinking, creativity, and communication. Sister also informed the parents about the teaching methodologies, grading system, various co-scholastic activities, and assessments. The event proved to be a very fruitful one.
