St. Ann's Senior Secondary School celebrated 80th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and joy. The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony by the Guest of Honour, followed by the National Anthem. The atmosphere was filled with pride and unity. The performance was given by Class 3 and Class 9 students. Dressed in colourful and vibrant costumes, they presented a special program based on Women Empowerment. Through patriotic songs, dances, and a short skit, they depicted the bravery and sacrifice of Rani Lakshmi Bai, who was shown as a powerful symbol of courage and pride of India. The performance sent out a strong and inspiring message about the important role of women in nation building. The program was further made memorable by the inspirational address by the Principal. She spoke about the value of freedom and unity to our country. She appreciated the hard work and discipline of the students and teachers. The stage looked very colourful and the entire school was filled with patriotic spirit. All students and teachers were very happy and enjoyed the celebration. The event concluded with words of gratitude.
