Memorable picnic to E-O-D Adventure Park and the National Science Centre

The best education often happens when we step beyond the classroom, explore the world around us and learn through unforgettable experiences.” With hearts full of excitement and spirits soaring high, the students of Classes VI to VIII of St. Ann’s School set out on a memorable picnic to E-O-D Adventure Park and the National Science Centre, Delhi on 3rd october 2026.The outing was thoughtfully planned to offer a delightful combination of adventure, recreation, exploration and experiential learning. The day began at E-O-D Adventure Park, Mayur Vihar, where the students were welcomed with a delicious breakfast. The park soon echoed with laughter, cheers and excitement as the children enthusiastically participated in various adventure activities. From bouncing with joy on the trampolines to experiencing the thrill of the zip line and enjoying several other recreational attractions, every moment was filled with fun and adventure. These activities provided the students with an opportunity to challenge themselves, build confidence and create wonderful memories with their friends. A sumptuous lunch added to the enjoyment, giving everyone time to relax, refresh and share their cheerful moments. The excitement continued as the students proceeded to the National Science Centre, Delhi, where adventure gave way to curiosity and exploration. The visit proved to be an enriching educational experience as students explored fascinating science exhibits and interactive galleries. From discovering the wonders of human biology and prehistoric life to exploring the world of technology, digital innovations and scientific principles through engaging displays, the students experienced the fascinating world of science beyond the pages of their textbooks. The interactive exhibits encouraged them to observe, question, experiment and develop a deeper appreciation for scientific knowledge. The picnic turned out to be a wonderful blend of thrill, togetherness and learning. It offered students a refreshing break from their routine while strengthening friendships, nurturing curiosity and providing opportunities for learning through first hand experiences. As the day came to an end, the students returned with sparkling smiles, joyful memories and countless stories to share.
