St. Ann’s Senior Secondary School, Roorkee, in collaboration with Rotary Club of Roorkee Midtown, organised an awareness rally to promote plastic waste management, waste segregation, environmental conservation, and civic responsibility among the community. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of Class VIII, accompanied by their class teachers and Physical Education Teacher (P.E.T.), along with members of the Rotary Club. The students carried awareness placards and raised meaningful slogans, spreading the message of responsible waste disposal and the need to reduce the use of plastic. The rally aimed to sensitise students and the public about the harmful impact of plastic waste on the environment and encourage responsible civic practices. The active involvement of the students reflected their commitment towards creating a cleaner, greener, and more responsible society. The initiative provided students with an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and become ambassadors of environmental awareness. The school appreciates the support and collaboration of the Rotary Club of Roorkee Midtown in making this awareness drive meaningful and impactful.
