Festival of Diwali 2026

St. Ann’s Sr. Sec. School, Roorkee, celebrated the festival of Diwali on 5th November 2026 with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. The celebration commenced with prayers and petitions, invoking divine blessings and expressing gratitude. The students of Classes I and VII showcased their talents through a beautiful speech, a soulful poem, an engaging skit and vibrant dance performances, highlighting the significance of Diwali and the timeless values of truth, goodness and righteousness. The programme beautifully conveyed that Diwali is not merely a festival of lights but a celebration of the triumph of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair. It reminded everyone that the true essence of Diwali lies in dispelling the darkness within and illuminating our lives with kindness, compassion and virtue.
